Run for the Fallen

Run in tribute to those who've made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom in the "Run for the Fallen" on Saturday, September 9 (Rain Date: September 16), 8:30 a.m. Run for the Fallen gives all of us the opportunity to honor those who fell during service to their country while showing support for the families who’ve lost a loved one. This run features a one-mile and 5K course; both start off at Williams Stadium; check-in begins at 7 a.m. 
 
In-person Attendance Instructions:

No registration required
In person participants will need to pick up your bib at ACS Survivor Outreach Services Office (Garrison Headquarters), 3312 Adams Avenue, Bldg. 12010 on September 6 & 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Virtual Attendance Instructions:
No registration required
First, download and print your Run for the Fallen bib. 
Download the bib here. Fill out the bib (state who you are running in memory of). Don't forget to wear your bib during your run. 

Secondly, tune in to the LIVE Run for the Fallen kick-off!
Go to the Survivor Outreach Services, Run for the Fallen facebook event page from 8:30 - 9:45 a.m. on September 9, 2023 to join the LIVE opening ceremony.

Thirdly, physically participate by running or walking, September 9 - 10, in your local neighborhood.
Walk or run but don't forget to wear your bib, take pictures and track your miles! 

Lastly, share your moments and miles with us. We want to see your beautiful pictures, tributes and your miles! We encourage all participants to post your run pictures on social media (yours and ours) and include the hashtags #fortgreggadamssos. Also, tell us what this year's Run for the Fallen means to you. Finally, we would like to know how many miles you achieved! Take a quick moment to send us an email to fortgreggadamsrunforthefallen@gmail.com and let us know how many miles you logged.
 
 
 
If you would like to submit a photograph of your fallen military member for display along the run route, please email the image to fortgreggadamsrunforthefallen@gmail.com by August 28. 
 
All units planning to participate need to notify ACS Survivor Outreach Services by September 5.
 
All non DoD ID Cardholders must pre-register for installation access. For visitor information go to home.army.mil/greggadams.
