Summer Reading Program

Reading is an adventure of the imagination and that is certainly reflected in the theme of this year's Summer Reading Program: “Read Beyond The Beaten Path." The mission of the Summer Reading Program is to help families bridge the “summer learning gap” and the Fort Gregg-Adams Community Library certainly has a summer-load of fun planned indoors and outdoors to help keep your kids interested in reading.

The special events includes guest readers, crafts and movement-centered exercise. All the fun happens at the Bunker Hall Cafe at 10:30 a.m. on June 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19 & 26, and August 2. The Summer Reading Program will conclude with a selective awards presentation. Winners will be contacted on August 16; awards distributed by appointment on August 17, 10:30 - 11: 30 a.m.

This program is open to ALL ages, so adults are welcome to participate too! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for all Summer Reading Program events/activities. This is a FREE program. Sign up for this year’s summer reading program by visiting the library. Registration beings June 9.

The Fort Gregg-Adams Community Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Army Logistics University, Building 12420.  The Bunker Hall Cafe is located at 2401 Quarters Road, Fort Gregg-Adams.
