Holding onto a piece of rope on the back of a boat that might be traveling over 30 miles per hour is not only a thrill, but a workout that uses every muscle in your body. Outdoor Recreation invites you to enjoy this exciting recreational sport by offering water ski lessons that are open to both the novice and experienced skiers. Lessons are being offered by appointment now through August 25 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The water ski launch site is Appomattox Small Boat Harbor. Participants must wear bathing suits, (or shorts and a t-shirt - something that moves with you). Participants must be able to swim.
Cost
$30 per session
Registration Information
Pre-registration is required; participants must register at least one day prior to the day of the event. Lesson sessions have a four-person minimum in order to be held.
