ACS – Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Army Community Services' Family Advocacy Program is hosting awareness events in October in honor of national Domestic Violence Awareness month. The Fort Lee community is encouraged to come out and support the Family Advocacy Program and event participants as we show that community togetherness and social awareness can triumph over some of the most difficult moments in life. The awareness event schedule is the following:

October 5, 2nd Annual Domestic Violence Joint Services Run - 6 a.m. at Williams Stadium

October 12, Teen Dating Symposium - 4 p.m. at the Youth Center; Parent Symposium, "My Teen is dating, now what!" - 5:30 p.m. at the Youth Center

October 19, "Break a Sweat, Break the Cycle" Spin Class - 11:30 a.m. at the Strength Performance Center

October 20, DAVA Dance-Off - 5 - 9 p.m., Line dancing at the HideAway (Age 21 and over)

October 24, Riverside Jail Outreach - 10 a.m.

October 27, 5th Annual Kick Domestic Violence Kickball Tournament - 9 a.m. at Williams Stadium
