Lighting the Tree at Grand Illumination

Kick off the holidays with Fort Lee’s Grand Illumination on Thursday, December 2, at 4:00 p.m., when the community gathers to light up the corner of Mahone Avenue and Battle Drive with our special holiday tree. There will be cookies, carolers, and food trucks. Good boys and girls will want to drop off their letters to Santa or ride the Candy Express Train through the winter wonderland. The TRADOC Army Band will perform your favorite carols from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Santa is scheduled to arrive around 4:40 p.m. and has promised to stick around and visit with the kids and pose for photos.
