Family & MWR Party Guide

Family and MWR is always in the know when it comes to the most fun activities, concerts and all around good times on Fort Lee. Here are our recommendations for the best places to host your next party.

1.   The HideAway

Home to the Live at Five Concerts, this hidden gem is Fort Lee’s best kept secret. At this country western style bar you can watch sports action on any of their 6 flat-screen TVs or join in a friendly game of billiards. Savor a variety of beers on tap or your favorite mixed drink in this modern rustic abode.

Take your shindig outside to the large front porch or on the 800 sqft deck. Rent the spacious wooden pavilion with or without the HideAway. This destination is great for picnics and potlucks. You can also rent barbeque equipment from their neighbors at outdoor recreation.

For more information about the nominal cleaning and rental fee contact (804)765-1539.

2.    The Cardinal Golf Club

Equipped with a 27-hole championship course, full practice range, 2 large putting/chipping greens, practice bunker, fully stocked pro shop, The Cardinal Golf Club offers a great experience for everyone. It’s sure to be a good time with a group of friends, team building with co-workers, or a nice setup for a couple’s birthday outing.

The Cardinal Golf Course Quick Service Restaurant offers hot and cold sandwiches, beverages and a wide selection of draft and canned beer with three televisions to enjoy multiple broadcast events. With classic favorites like philly cheesesteak, hot dogs, fries, and chips, the Cardinal Restaurant is a great place for casual meetups, gatherings and luncheons.

Cater with the Cardinal Golf Course and rent the new outdoor kitchen furnished with state of the art grills, granite tops and draft beer. It’s great for large cookouts, picnics, fundraising events, and more.

For more information on how to book your event contact (804)734-2899.

3.  TenStrike Bowling Center

TenStrike is more than just bowling. It’s a newly renovated entertainment center. TenStrike is a one stop spot where food, arcade games, bowling and bar can be found. This 32-lane facility is a popular gathering spot for friends and families. They host open bowling and leagues, and have bumper-lanes so your little ones can join in.

Stocked with two multipurpose rooms that can be separated or combined, each room is $25 one hour or $20 per hour for two or more hours with a 50 person capacity. Combined, it is $50 for one hour or $40 for two or more hours. These rooms can be used for birthday and retirement parties, special occasions or class/team meetings and more.

Custom menus are available. Anything can be made. Enjoy hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, pizza, wings, salads, desserts, soft drinks, beer and wine and more. With their motto being “Have fun, that’s an order!” We think you’ll agree that at TenStrike it is difficult not to have fun. TenStrike breaks the mold in the world of bowling and entertainment.
