Youth Center Open Recreation Summer Camp

Calling all young adventurers! Get ready for the summer of a lifetime at our Youth Center Open Recreation Summer Camp! Dive into 11 weeks of non-stop fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories as we embark on a journey of excitement and exploration! Starting June 3 - August 16, each week camps will run from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

Program Overview

Week 1 June 3-7: Getting to know you week: Youth will take the time to build relationships during this week through activities.

Week 2 June 10-14: 4H Media week: We will partner with 4H to create news castings, newspapers, and short social media clips.

Week 3 June 17-21: Fashion Week/Sports Challenges: Youth will participate in either creating their own fashion wear for a fashion show or participate in a variety of sports activities throughout the week. 

Week 4 June 24-28 Splash camp: Everything water fun!  Bring your swimming suit each week for a splashing good time.

Week 5 July 1-5 Teambuilding: Youth will work on overcoming obstacles through MRT, rock climbing.

Week 6 July 8-12 Painting with a Twist: We will have a fun filled week creating various art mediums, guest presenters, learning how to face paint.

Week 7 4-H cooking challenge: The youth will do cooking challenge, each day they will be given a food selection and create a dish!

Week 8 Staying Active: Fitness 101 is important we will work on fitness goals and nutrition.

Week 9 4H STEM Camp: Youth will have fun as they explore the world of Science, Technology, Math and Engineering.

Week 10 August 5-9 Community service week:  Giving back is important.  Our youth will take on different service projects to make the Garrison a better place.

Week 11 August 12-16 Back to school: make the most out the last week before school with a Luau to end the week.
