Yorktown Child Development Center

Our Mission is Caring

Army Child, Youth and School Services programs exist to support military readiness by reducing the conflict between a Soldier's mission requirements and his or her parental responsibilities.

The Yorktown Child Development Center (CDC) is accredited through the National Association for the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC) and certified to operate by the Department of Defense.

We provide full day child care for children, 6 weeks to 5 years.
All children 3 years and older, attending care will be required to wear a mask.

Please only drop off your child and enter the building if you can answer “NO” to the following questions:

1.            Have you or your child been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or is awaiting results?

2.            Are you feeling sick in any way?

3.            Are your experiencing any loss of taste of smell?

4.            Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours?

Mask Wearing: Although mask wearing for immunized individuals is no longer required, in order to maximize safety while enhanced screening is being reduced, CYS will continue to adhere to current mask wearing requirements until the requirement has been lifted for all. Since all children are not able to receive the vaccine, children 3 years old and up will continue to wear masks until further notice.

In addition, all patrons entering the building must wear a mask as well.
